Exhibition ‘Eclipse’: The Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona (RACAB) and eclipse observations.
The Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona (RACAB) is, in all likelihood, the oldest institution in Spain dedicated to the study of science. From its very beginnings, it took an interest in astronomical observations and, in particular, in the observation of eclipses. Now that an exceptional series of three solar eclipses is approaching, visible from here for three consecutive years, from 2026 to 2028, it is time to review the Academy’s relationship with eclipses.

Exhibition opening hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 10am–1pm
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 4pm–6pm.
